I work with families alongside my work with individual children. I am trained to intermediate level in systemic (family) psychotherapy. This approach looks at how we relate as a family group. It can be helpful for supporting families through times of change and for families experiencing specific challenges such as bereavement, coping with special needs or chronic illness, separation, divorce and re-structured families. I see families as unique in both their strengths and vulnerabilities and a rich resource for supporting healthy emotional development and well-being for all its members.
