I offer both short-term counselling and more long-term therapy. An introductory session is usually helpful to help you decide if you will feel comfortable about working with me. This first session will also give me an idea of what you would like to work on and how counselling or therapy might be able to help. I have worked with adults with a range of emotional and mental health difficulties including anxiety, stress, depression, confusion and lack of ease, frustration and dissatisfaction as well as specific loss and trauma. I work with people’s own strengths and coping strategies and am committed to effecting change that can be maintained over time and be useful in your day-to-day life and relationships. I see emotional crises and difficulties as opportunities to better understand ourselves make positive changes.
